- Alpha Arts and Science College is a constitution, sponsored by the Alpha Educational Society. It is a registered Non-Profit Educational Society under the Society Registration Act, 1860. Alpha Arts and Science College is part of the four decade old Alpha Group of Institutions. The College is a private unaided, co-educational Arts and Science College approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to the University of Madras. The College, started in the year 1996-97 was upgraded as a Post Graduate Institution in the year 2001-02.
